Zdaj veste vse! Rožmarinke vas »pocajtajo«, preženejo skrbi in bolečine, življenju dodajo okus in omamen vonj po minulem in prihodnjem. Oboje naenkrat! S sodobnim glasbenim pristopom kažejo, da muzika nima meja. Nikakršnih in nikjer.
In vodi... Vodi...
The members of the »Rožmarinke« string quartet have been engaged with all forms of chamber music since their beginnings of musical education.Their desire for music making and performing as a group has inspired them and led them to look for new challenges.Besides the classical music which has been the main occupation throughout the years their dedication as well was to discover the very special repertoire of the »Rožmarin« quartet who mainly performed slovenian folk music and evergreens arranged and composed especially for this quartet by known slovenian composers (and some were arranged and composed by its members). Therefore, in 1994, four young girls in the beginning of their serious commitment to only music and in their eagerness and willingness to play and perform, gathered together and took over the tradition of the former string quartet »Rožmarin« and since then they have had quite a successful journey performing in Slovenia and abroad. Their performances include recitals, different concert and public events as well as protocole events of the republic of Slovenia. The highlights they were remembered by quite strongly was certainly the performance on the slovenian eurovision song contest »EMA« in 2004 with the song Cliche (Kliše/by duo Silence). The combination of electropop and classical world brought them 2nd place in the competition and quite a numerous amount of followers.A successful performance of the »Rožmarinke« or »the Rosemaries« quartet was in Warszaw when Slovenia joined the EU. A short promotional film about the quartet Rožmarinke was made for the "Slovenian magazine" (broadcasting for the foreign countries) and after that many appearances as guests occured on many other television broadcastings who presented them well to the wider spectrum of audiences. The »Rožmarinke« string quartet are very enthusiastic to support the less fortunate people and animals as well.Throughout the years they have been performing on charity concerts and on other events with the humanitary nature. In 2006 at the Slovenian film festival a film »Kratki stiki« by a known slovenian director Janez Lapajne was awarded the 1st prize in all the categories including for the best music recorded by »Rožmarinke«. A film or the theatre music is not a stranger to them; quite a few recordings were made for various theathre performances ( Betontanz) ,other TV broadcastings and shows. Cd recordings of the »Rožmarinke« quartet are various in styles and were made together with different musicians for different occasions – classical and pop. The members of the »Rožmarinke«string quartet are all professional musicians who have continued their musical studies abroad (Germany,USA,Switzerland) after graduating at the Academy for music in Ljubljana,Slovenia.Violinist Monika Debelič is a devoted professor teaching young generations at the state music school, the cellist Petra Gačnik Greblo is a member of the Slovenian Philharmonic orchestra, violinist Tina Krajnik and violist Katja Krajnik are both members of the Radio Symphony orchestra of Slovenia.
